As part of our ongoing commitment to quality, included in our price is 1 return visit approximately 6-8 weeks after spraying. To apply 1 fertilise application and check to ensure the lawn is being maintained correctly.

Good ground preparation is essential for a long lasting healthy green lawn. For a premium product we recommend the following preparations

Destroy any existing weeds.
Ensure the area has adequate drainage.
Install an irrigation system if required.
Level out the subsurface, ridges, hollow, edges.
Bring in some sandy topsoil such as a sandy loam for the top layer.
Level off the topsoil evenly to allow for a flat lawn finish.

Water is an essential component in any living organism. Your lawn needs the correct application of water to ensure its future growth. At the time of spraying, the Easycare Hydroturf operator will discuss a watering schedule with you. All new lawns need a high rate of nutrients to establish rapid growth and promote root development. Easycare Hydroturf has applied the correct rate and type of fertiliser to your new lawn to establish germination. Easycare Hydroturf will repeat another complimentary fertiliser application in 6-8 weeks time.

Hydroturf can be sprayed all year round. Hydroturf is frost tolerant and spraying for larger areas is recommended during the autumn and winter months. Although growth is slower, water consumption is very low and the lawn area is still getting root development through winter which means your lawn is fully established by summer.

We recommend using RTF (Rhizomatous Tall Fescue) in the Canberra and Southern Highlands region, however Easycare Hydroturf is able to use nearly any seed variety that you request.

RTF stands for Rhizomatous Tall Fescue and it is a cool season grass which is perfectly suited to the Canberra and Southern Highlands regions.
